BlogFor a long time, I wanted to go on the Char Dham Yatra—a holy journey to Yamunotri, Gangotri, Kedarnath, and Badrinath. In 2024, my wish came true, and I chose Divya Destination to plan my trip. It was the best decision I made!
A Warm Welcome and Smooth Start
From the beginning, the Divya Destination team was very helpful. They explained everything, arranged comfortable hotels, and made sure my trip would be safe and easy. When I reached Dehradun, their staff picked me up in a clean car, and my journey began.
First Stop: Yamunotri
The road to Yamunotri was full of green mountains and beautiful views. To reach the temple, I had to trek, but Divya Destination arranged a pony for me, which made it easier. I took a bath in the hot spring near the temple and then prayed to Goddess Yamuna. It felt very peaceful.
Gangotri – The Origin of the Ganga
At Gangotri, I saw the Bhagirathi River, which later becomes the Ganga River. The temple was simple but very powerful. The priest explained the story of Goddess Ganga coming to Earth, and I felt truly blessed to be there.
Kedarnath – A Dream Come True
I was most excited about visiting Kedarnath. The team arranged a helicopter for me, so I didn’t have to trek the long distance. When I saw the ancient temple surrounded by snowy mountains, my heart was full of joy. The evening Aarti was magical, and I felt very close to Lord Shiva.
Final Destination: Badrinath
My journey ended at Badrinath, where the temple stood tall and bright. The Tapt Kund, a natural hot water spring, was warm and soothing. After taking a dip, I prayed to Lord Vishnu and felt at peace.
